Jesus the Word made flesh, the Son of God — life, true light, the way and the truth.耶稣是道成肉身的神子——是生命、真光、道路、真理。
See the whole-Bible map →在圣经地图中查看这卷的位置 →Who is Jesus? Is he merely a teacher, a prophet, or a moral example — or is he God come near to us? And if success, wealth, and wisdom cannot fill the emptiness of life, where is true life actually found? 耶稣到底是谁?祂只是老师、先知、道德榜样,还是神亲自来到人间?如果人生的空不能靠成功、财富和智慧填满,那么生命真正的源头,又在哪里?
John doesn't answer with a lecture. He tells a story — of light entering darkness, water becoming wine, the dead walking out of a tomb — and lets you decide who this could be. 约翰福音不用长篇大论回答。它讲一个故事——光进入黑暗,水变成酒,死人从坟墓里走出来——然后让你自己判断:这位,究竟是谁。
John doesn't start with a manger. He starts before time — with "the Word" (Greek logos, rendered 道 in Chinese): the mind and voice behind everything, who "became flesh and dwelt among us." Read the opening lines yourself. 约翰福音不从马槽开始,而是从时间之前开始——从"道"(希腊文 logos,中文译作"道"):万有背后的心意与声音,那位"成了肉身,住在我们中间"的。自己读一读这段开篇。

带着这段经文祷告 →Respond in prayer →Running through John are seven sentences that begin the same way — "I am…". To first-century ears this was startling: "I AM" is the name God gave himself when Moses asked (Exodus 3:14). John is quietly showing you who he thinks Jesus is. 约翰福音里贯穿着七句同样开头的话——"我是……"。在当时的人听来,这很震撼:"我是"正是神在摩西问祂名字时,给自己起的名(出埃及记 3:14)。约翰是在安静地告诉你:他认为耶稣是谁。
Notice what each one offers: bread for hunger, light for darkness, a door for the shut-out, a shepherd for the lost, resurrection for the dying, a way for the disoriented, a vine for the fruitless. Every ache Ecclesiastes names, one of these quietly answers. 留意每一句在回应什么:粮,给饥饿的;光,给黑暗中的;门,给被关在外面的;牧人,给迷失的;复活,给将死的;道路,给迷茫的;葡萄树,给不结果子的。传道书说出的每一种疼痛,这里都有一句在安静地回应。

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.光照在黑暗里,黑暗却从未胜过光。
